definitely i think more so now than before and a lot of that has to do with fraction’s take on clint. like clint has this rebellious and somewhat carefree personality at times but there’s definitely so much more to him. don’t think im blaming fraction for everything because really he was part of "Cap’s Kooky Quartet.“ way back when he wanda pietro and steve formed the second line up of the avengers and anything with the name kooky says enough. ok this was like a million years ago but still.

he has his hilarious moments and i love that about him and his sarcasm and wit is a key part of his personality i mean

but i feel like ever since fraction’s hawkeye people write him as some sort of giant fuck-up who can’t do anything right much alone form normal sentences (looking at you secret avengers and hawkeye too) and they’ll just toss him somewhere to make the situation a little funnier (if he get’s tossed into a comic at all) but yeah there’s s much more to clint than “this looks bad” and “aww [x]” and “ehhhmmmmm what what what” and whatever like he has a much more serious side to him.
